Job summary

The Business Connection Group is seeking a Customer Service and Sales Advisor for its Chester Head Office. You will primarily handle telephone-based inquiries, process orders, upsell, and promote online ordering to customers.

The role emphasises building strong customer relationships and delivering outstanding service, with a Monday to Friday 35-hour week and some additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous phone-based customer service experience.
• Polite and confident telephone manner.
• Professional attitude in all situations.
• Ability to multitask and be proactive.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and online messages to place orders.
• Call and diary customers weekly to obtain orders and upsell.
• Sell key brands to ensure customers have best product range.
• Drive engagement with online ordering platform and assist usage.
• Process orders accurately on inhouse system to minimise errors.
• Handle calls and digital communications with colleagues, distribution, and suppliers.
• Provide a friendly, professional frontline contact for customers.
• Manage supply tasks including urgent actions like order failures and transfers.
