Job summary

Wickes is seeking a customer-focused team member for a part-time store role in the United Kingdom. You will work around 12 hours weekly, with shifts including Friday/Saturday or Wednesday/Saturday and Flexibility between 8:00 AM–8:00 PM.

You’ll help customers, keep stock in the right place, support deliveries and be trained on forklift operation to enhance on-the-job skills. A friendly, down-to-earth workplace awaits with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Retail or warehouse experience required.
• Willingness to complete on-the-job forklift training.
• Part-time role with flexibility for weekend shifts.

Parking will be a breeze, trolleys in easy reach, help always at hand, stock in the right place, deliveries out on time and payment met with a smile.Of course, while you’re creating a helpful and friendly customer experience, we’ll be thinking of new ways to reward, develop and invest in you. You’ll receive all the training, support and opportunities you need. Think of it as a down-to-earth place to work, where you get to go up in the world.

• Weekly Hours: 12 hours per week
• Shift Options:
  • Option 2: Friday & Sunday
  • Flexibility needed between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM for morning, afternoon, or evening shifts.
• Work-Life Balance: Enjoy total peace of mind with rotas published 3 weeks in advance, making it easy to plan your personal schedule!
• What We’re Looking For: Retail or warehouse experience required, plus an eagerness to do an on the job training course to drive a forklift truck.
