Job summary

DPD Birmingham is seeking a Customer Service Advisor on a 6-month fixed term contract. The role focuses on assisting customers and internal teams with parcel delivery issues, PODs, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle delivery status inquiries, investigate missing parcels and disputes, and work closely with Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to resolve issues, delivering excellent customer service on every contact.

• Strong communication skills and confident telephone manner.
• Polite, professional, and willing to go the extra mile.
• Excellent admin skills and ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated with good initiative and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Answer queries about delivery status and provide Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Investigate missing parcels and resolve delivery disputes.
