Job summary

DPD is seeking a Customer Service Advisor at our Gateshead site to handle delivery status inquiries, PODs, and parcel disputes. You'll collaborate with drivers and management to resolve issues in a fast-paced setting and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.

The role focuses on professional communication, accuracy, and proactive problem solving, while supporting a busy operation with a strong customer service ethos.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
• Polite and professional at all times with a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Excellent administration skills with Microsoft Office programs.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to effectively problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Answer queries about delivery status and provide Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Investigate missing parcels and resolve delivery disputes.
• Collaborate with Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to identify and resolve issues.
