Job summary

A local automotive service company in St Albans is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The successful candidate will manage service inquiries, meet customers, provide updates, and drive additional work while ensuring high satisfaction. Ideal candidates should possess strong customer service skills and technical vehicle knowledge, and hold a valid driving licence. A salary package of £30,000 to £35,000 OTE is offered, with Monday to Friday hours plus alternate Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Good customer adviser experience preferred but not essential.
• Valid driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all service telephone and walk-in enquiries.
• Meet and greet customers, qualify and identify their needs.
• Progress and update customers throughout the day.
• Discuss and up-sell additional work to customers.

Service Advisor Required! – OTE £30K- £35K

Our client is a Main Dealership, looking to recruit a Service Advisor to join their team based in St Albans!

Working as part of the Service team, you will be focused on delivering a very high level of brand experience to your customers, committed to making a difference and wanting to join a company that can offer long-term career progression.

Service Advisor Role

• To manage all service telephone and walk-in enquiries
• To meet and greet customers, qualify and identify customer’s needs for vehicle drop‑off
• To progress and update the customer throughout the day
• To discuss and up‑sell additional work to the customer
• Advise and forward diarised unsold work
• Carry out inspections where necessary prior to handover to customer
• To ensure you deliver outstanding customer satisfaction

Service Advisor Requirements

• Ideally have good customer adviser experience, motor trade experience not essential
• A good technical knowledge of vehicles will help
• To have a positive, customer focused attitude and approach to your work
• To have a valid driving licence
• Package: £30,000 to £35,000 OTE

Hours

Monday to Friday 8.00am till 6.00pm and alternate Saturdays from 8.00am till 12.30pm
