Job summary

Oliver Valves in Knutsford is seeking a skilled Customer Order Expeditor to join our manufacturing team on-site. You will manage order status, respond to customer emails and calls within 24 hours, and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Documentation and Logistics to ship on the promised date.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, proactive, and able to use MRP systems and Excel/Word. Strong communication, numeracy and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Clear and professional communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage own time
• Manufacturing experience is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have an up-to-date order status
• Respond to customer emails/phone calls within 24 hours
• Review order status and coordinate timely picks for on-time delivery
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Documentation and Logistics
• Liaise with Customer Inspectors
• Facilitate schedule of orders and resolve issues
• Provide updates to third-party inspectors on open inspections
