Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a Sales Administrator to join our fast-growing manufacturing team in the UK. You will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries and coordinate orders from receipt to delivery, working closely with Sales, Production, and Logistics to maintain strong customer relationships.

The role involves handling order updates, queries, returns, and maintaining ERP data, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvements in customer service and order processing.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Sales Administrator, Customer Service, Sales Support, Order Processing, Customer Support, or Account Administration role.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident using ERP, MRP, CRM, or order management systems.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently from receipt through to delivery.
• Providing customers with order updates, lead times, and delivery information.
• Managing order queries, returns, and account-related enquiries.
• Maintaining accurate customer and order information within the ERP system.
• Liaising with Production, Logistics, and Sales teams to ensure orders progress smoothly.
• Resolving customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Building strong relationships with customers and understanding their requirements.
• Escalating technical or warranty-related queries to specialist teams when required.
• Supporting continuous improvements within customer service and order processing activities.
