Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Security Officer to help create a safe, welcoming and secure shopping environment for customers and colleagues. You will stay calm under pressure, lead with professionalism and take pride in delivering great service while protecting people and products.

You will be a visible presence in store, using body-worn cameras and reporting systems to support operations and incident management, and you’ll work closely with staff to maintain high standards of safety and service.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience is preferred.
• A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm, confident and professional approach.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• A genuine passion for customer service and keeping people safe.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, welcoming and secure store environment for customers and colleagues.
• Respond to incidents and prevent loss while protecting people and products.
