Job summary

One Stop Stores Ltd is seeking a Shift Leader to guide day-to-day store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will lead duty shifts, coordinate a team, and strive to exceed customer expectations while maintaining safety and high store standards.

You will be accountable for opening/closing, customer service, and supporting the Store Manager with events and performance improvement initiatives, ensuring a welcoming store for the local community.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver the easiest shopping trip in the community.
• Open/close the store and manage duty cover with customer and colleague safety.
• Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Support the Store Manager with seasonal, community and charity events.
• Ensure the store is clean, tidy and well presented.
• Prioritise replenishment of products that matter to customers.
• Manage queues to deliver a great shopping trip.
• Balance time between service and replenishment areas.
• Follow health and safety routines and keep the team informed.
