Job summary

Southern Water is recruiting aTechnical Coordinator in Durrington to support developers, customers, SLPs and NAVs through water network projects. You will manage applications, vet designs, and coordinate with developers, contractors and internal teams to ensure progress and compliance with standards.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, with a driving license and IT proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing or stakeholder-facing role.
• Knowledge of the Water Industry preferred or other utilities
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to challenging timescales.
• A collaborative approach and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Good IT skills and confidence working across multiple systems.
• A Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers through application processes for water mains, diversions, Self-Lay and NAV schemes.
• Reviewing and vetting designs and quotations for developer services schemes.
• Managing customer enquiries via phone, email and online portals.
• Liaising with developers, contractors and internal teams to ensure projects progress smoothly.
• Reviewing capacity checks and ensuring schemes meet industry and company standards.
• Representing Southern Water at meetings with customers and external stakeholders.
• Supporting the successful delivery of projects in line with regulatory requirements and service level commitments.
