Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a Technical Coordinator to join our Water Production Team at Hardham and across Sussex sites. You will audit safety, environmental and cleanliness standards, coordinate planned work, and assist during unplanned events or health and safety risks.

You will travel between sites with a standby rota of 1-in-10 and deputise for the Field Performance Manager when required. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site audits to ensure safety, environmental, and cleanliness standards.
• Support planned work and coordinate operational activities across multiple sites.
• Respond to unplanned events and assist in managing health and safety risks.
• Liaise with contractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Manage unannounced regulatory audits and maintain professional relationships with regulators.
• Deputise for the Field Performance Manager when required.
• Update company systems and databases accurately and promptly.
• Participate in standby cover on a 1-in-10 rota basis.
