Job summary

South East Water is seeking a Developer Services Coordinator to manage the design, coordination, reporting, and financial aspects of new mains, diversions, and services in the UK. You will handle developer enquiries, payments, and logging systems while coordinating tasks during absences and ensuring timely designs and delivery.

The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and customer-facing experience to handle D-Mex communications and enquiries across channels.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C (or equivalent).
• Customer service experience.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to coordinate and manage priorities well.
• Technical and regulatory knowledge desirable.
• Previous experience in utility sector desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Developer Services activities and ensure high quality standards.
• Plan routes for new mains by coordinating with developers, highways authorities, and environmental assessors.
• Advise developers on water legislation, highways requirements, CoP guidance, and environmental impacts.
• Process enquiries and payments for mains, diversions and services.
• Generate weekly/monthly reports and prepare job packs and method statements.
• Ensure coverage during holidays and liaise with internal departments to align designs and delivery.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Assets for offsite reinforcement schemes.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers and ensure high work standards.
• Attend site visits for bottled water stations as needed.
