Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Exeter is seeking a Customer Service Consultant to provide outstanding support, educate customers on digital banking options, and raise fraud awareness. The role focuses on delivering a personalised, friendly service and handling a range of customer enquiries with empathy.

You will work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00 and Saturdays 09:00–13:30, with full in-branch training lasting 9 days across 3 weeks.

• Ability to take ownership of inquiries through to resolution with a personalised, friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Educate customers about HSBC digital services and fraud awareness.
• Identify customers in vulnerable situations and determine how to support them.
• Assist customers with more complex banking needs to ensure they feel supported in their choices.
