Job summary

Sainsbury’s is looking for a Customer Assistant in Scotland who puts customers first with friendly, helpful service across our busy store. You’ll help on the shop floor, fill shelves, serve customers and use digital tools to enhance their shopping experience.

You’ll move stock, keep aisles tidy, and learn our products and promotions so you can confidently recommend items to customers. This role thrives in a fast-paced, physical environment and relies on teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
