Job summary

Sainsbury’s is hiring a Customer Assistant to put customers first and provide friendly, helpful service in a fast-paced store environment. You’ll assist with stocking, serving customers, and using digital tools to improve the shopping experience.

Role requires flexibility to work across the store, with opportunities to learn about products, promotions and store processes while supporting colleagues and delivering excellent customer care.

Responsibilities

• Put customers first and make them feel valued through friendly, thoughtful service.
• Ready to help wherever customers need you, including stocking shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling products.
• Use and embrace digital tools to do your job effectively and enhance customer experience.
• Help organise and move stock, keep shelves tidy and well-presented, and move heavy loads to the correct store location.
• Build knowledge of products, services and promotions to confidently recommend to customers.
