Job summary

Santander UK is recruiting a Customer Experience Advisor for the Kirkwall Branch. The role is a Lifestyle 260 contract, offering flexible hours across Monday to Saturday, 8am–6pm, with a pro rata salary of £25,000 plus a £500 benefits allowance and an 8% bonus potential.

You will handle transactions, support customers and promote Santander services. The role emphasises listening, problem-solving and multi-skilling, with strong teamwork and a customer-centric mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service either face-to-face or via telephony.
• Clear communication to understand customer needs and provide solutions.
• Ability to be flexible and support multiple activities across branches.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for customers in branch or over the phone.
• Assist with day-to-day transactions, queries and servicing.
• Answer customer calls into the contact centre; build relationships.
• Develop knowledge of Santander services to help customers.
• Identify ways to improve the customer experience.
