Job Description:

My client, a leading IT Solutions provider, is seeking to recruit a Desktop Support Engineer to join an expanding Customer Support team. This client has over 10,000 employees worldwide and supports numerous large Enterprise Customers. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ownership of, investigation into, and resolution of customer technical issues, collaborating across teams and utilizing troubleshooting tools.
  • Participation in communities with peer delivery roles and sharing knowledge where appropriate.
  • Development of technical and professional skills through training and readiness.
  • Identification of potential product defects and escalation for resolution, contributing to product improvements.
  • Fluency in English with effective communication skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical support or related fields.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 technologies.
  • Experience with Office setup and deployment processes.
  • Proficiency with Office core applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, InfoPath, Access).
  • Understanding of Office integration with platforms like Windows, SharePoint, OneDrive, and mobile devices.
  • Additional skills such as networking, communication protocols (FTP, HTTP), object-oriented programming, and technical literacy are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
