5 Star Family Garage in Croydon is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to manage the end-to-end customer journey, keep the workshop diary full, and produce accurate repair estimates while ensuring smooth job progression.

The role is based in Shirley/Croydon with on-site parking, Monday–Friday hours, no weekend work, and a genuine focus on work-life balance. Competitive pay, great training, and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor in a main dealer or independent garage.
• Experience with BMW/Mercedes/VAG/JLR is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Manage the customer journey from initial enquiry through to securing 5-star reviews.
• Keep the workshop diary full, organized, and running efficiently.
• Produce accurate repair estimates and process electronic safety inspection reports with extreme attention to detail.
• Liaise daily with Front of House and Workshop Managers to ensure seamless communication and smooth job progression.

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor / Automotive Aftersales Specialist from a franchised main dealer or specialist independent background. You will manage the end-to-end customer journey, keeping our workshop productive while building long-term customer trust.

• Produce accurate repair estimates and process electronic safety inspection reports with extreme attention to detail.
• Liaise daily with Front of House and Workshop Managers to ensure seamless communication and smooth job progression.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor / Vehicle Aftersales Specialist within a main dealer or independent garage environment (experience with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, VAG, or JLR is highly advantageous).
• A customer-first mindset with a passion for road safety rather than hard-selling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Eagerness to attend coaching courses and continuously develop your skill set.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Base: Shirley / Croydon area (Free secure on-site parking).
