Nationwide in Kendal is hiring a Customer Representative to support customers in branch, by phone and online. This permanent, full-time role (35 hours/week, Mon–Sat) offers a busy, people-focused environment where you help with everyday banking moments.

You'll welcome customers, handle transactions, explain products and guide customers to digital tools while maintaining high standards of service and integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is helpful, banking experience not required.
• Ability to listen to customers and explain banking products clearly.
• Comfort with in-branch and telephone customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the branch and assess their needs with friendly guidance.
• Process transactions accurately while prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers to suitable products and digital tools for money management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent service during peak times.
• Follow procedures and escalate issues to protect customers and Nationwide.
