Job summary

MARKS&SPENCER in Reading is looking for a Customer Assistant in Operations. You’ll be the backstage powerhouse, handling stock, deliveries and the essential behind-the-scenes work that keeps the shop floor full and ready for customers.

Your work pattern includes early shifts across Sunday to Tuesday, with a £3.00 per hour unsocial premium for hours between 22:00 and 06:00. You’ll be digitally confident, fast, focused and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Stock control, deliveries and essential backstage work to keep shop floor full and ready for customers.
• Flexibility to work across the wider store as needed to meet pace and demand of retail.
• Use of digital tools to track deliveries and manage stock efficiently, ensuring availability and speed.
• Be a team player, working across functions and supporting colleagues across the store.
• Adapting to early morning deliveries and shifting stock late in the day to keep things moving.
