Job summary

Marks & Spencer Plc is seeking an Operations Assistant to support stock control, deliveries and back-end store operations. You will help maintain shelves, manage stock movement and work across the wider store to keep the customer area well-stocked and efficient.

The role requires flexibility around shifts, a willingness to handle early starts and late finishes, and comfort using digital tools to track deliveries and stock levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail stock control preferred.
• Ability to handle deliveries and stock movements.
• Comfortable working in shifts with possible unsocial hours.
• 18+ years age requirement as per policy.

• Thursday: 04:30-08:30
• Saturday: 04:30-08:30

Please note that the + £3.00 p/h unsocial premium is only added on any hours worked between 22:00-06:00.

Flexibility is vital. You’ll work across the wider store where needed – always keeping up with the pace and demands of retail.

Being digitally confident is essential. You’ll use digital tools confidently to track deliveries and manage stock efficiently, always focused on availability and speed.

Being a team player is essential. You’ll be a key cog in a big machine, working across functions and supporting colleagues across the store.

Flexibility is vital. From early morning deliveries to shifting stock late into the day, you’ll adapt quickly to keep things moving.
