Job summary

Henderson Group is recruiting for a part-time Retail Assistant in Northern Ireland. The role involves listening to customers, advising on products, and handling checkouts with accuracy. You will replenish stock, merchandise shelves, and ensure correct pricing.

A strong customer-service ethos and flexibility are essential for evening and weekend shifts. Training is provided even if you have no prior retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and advise customers about products and services.

• Ensure prices are correct with shelf edge labels.
• Maintain high standard of customer service at all times.
• May cover the Post Office when required.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Up to £13.30 per hour depending on your age & benefits.

Positions available at 8 hours per week, working evenings Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday 6am to 11pm, with a degree of flexibility required.

A look into the role

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success
