Overview

Applications are invited from experienced Cross Sectional Radiographers to join our client's Imaging team at their acute hospital site located in Kingston upon Thames, near Wimbledon and Richmond Park. The hospital is within easy reach of TfL, National Rail services and local bus networks. The Imaging Department specialises in a wide range of diagnostic imaging services including CT, MRI, General X-ray, Fluoroscopy and Mammography.

This hospital is a leading provider of independent healthcare in the UK, working with some of the capital's eminent medical Consultants and multidisciplinary healthcare specialists.

An established Charity Hospital since 1898, this centre of excellence delivers exceptional surgical and orthopaedic care, supported by the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment. The hospital facilities include: Private GP service, Physiotherapy, 15 consulting rooms, a Cardiac Diagnostic Facility, 6 treatment and diagnostic rooms, a dedicated 14-bed Day surgery unit, 19 private single inpatient rooms, 3 operating theatres and 1 endoscopy theatre, Imaging including X-Ray, CT and MRI and an On-site pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic imaging examinations within the Imaging Department across CT, MRI, General X-ray, Fluoroscopy and Mammography, in line with level of proficiency.
• Collaborate with Consultants and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient care.
• Be willing to rotate into General Radiography and/or Fluoroscopy if required.

Qualifications

• Radiographer with full HCPC registration
• Current or recent UK hospital-based CT and/or MRI experience; full proficiency in at least one modality with some skills in the other and a willingness to upskill accordingly
• A willingness to rotate into General Radiography and/or Fluoroscopy if required
