Job summary

Mountain Healthcare Limited is recruiting a Crisis Worker for its SARC in Lincoln. The role focuses on compassionate support for sexual assault victims, acting as an advocate throughout the forensic and care pathway.

You will ensure safety, confidentiality and effective coordination with multi-agency partners. The position requires a flexible, 24/7 shift pattern, with 12-hour shifts and driving may be needed to cover various SARC locations.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
• Experience in health/public sector settings is ideal.
• Ability to work in multi-agency environment and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for service users.
• Prepare patients and assist in collecting forensic evidence.
• Maintain high standards of DNA decontamination between cases.
• Liaise with other agencies to manage the service user pathway.
• Provide advocacy and support during the service user's stay at the SARC.
• Be a key team member within the SARC and wider network.
