A long-standing retail business based in M41 are looking to hire an experienced credit controller to join their team.

The company has a wonderful range of sales, keeping the day-to-day requirements of this job fresh and enjoyable. The ideal candidate will have had experience working in a credit control job, feel comfortable in reconciliations and be a great communicator.

About the Credit Controller Job;

  • Authorise orders as appropriate and negotiate/suspend credit facilities where needed to do so.
  • Reconcile all customer accounts and ensure accurate allocation between payments and invoices.
  • Manage any outstanding sales balances, negotiating re-payment plans and confirming timely payments.
  • Review of New Customer Application forms (including terms, credit limits and credit worthiness).
  • Set credit limits for relevant customers.
  • Follow collection procedures for overdue accounts and take control of process through debt collection to legal action (if required).

Experience required for Credit Controller Job;

  • At least three years’ experience in credit control or a similar role.
  • Knowledge and experience of finance software
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and written.
  • Ability to work on own workload and independently, while liaising with other departments.
