Job summary

A recruitment agency based in Romsey is seeking an experienced Credit Controller for a permanent role involving daily credit control activities, including debt chasing and query resolution.   • Reconcile bank statements with accounting records.
  • Complete monthly Receivables Finance reconciliations.

CMA Recruitment Group is working with a successful, well-established business based in Romsey, Hampshire, to help them recruit a Credit Controller on permanent basis.

What will the Credit Controller role involve?
  • Daily credit control activity – debt chasing, query resolution, issuing copy invoices, statements
  • Ensure day to day recording of account notes
  • Ensure the credit control mailbox is constantly maintained
  • Pursue timely payment of outstanding invoices, contacting customers with overdue payments through various channels, with a primary focus on verbal communication
  • Prepare, present, and minute the monthly credit control meetings
  • Reconcile bank statement balances with corresponding balances in the company’s accounting records
  • Complete monthly Receivables Finance reconciliations and upload to the bank, investigating discrepancies between aged receivables on the system and bank balance
Suitable candidate for the Credit Controller vacancy:
  • Previous Credit Control experience over the phone
