Responsibilities

• Manage and collect customer debts, prioritising accounts to minimise risk
• Act as main point of contact for customer account, invoice and payment queries
• Hold regular meetings with sales teams to resolve credit issues
• Review and assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers
• Prepare and issue customer statements, overdue reminders and reports
• Manage reconciliations, customer portals and EDI
• Monitor credit limits, credit holds and high-value invoices
• Support month-end invoicing and provide team cover when required

Credit Controller

Job Location: Poole, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £30,000 - £31,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm

A long-standing, family-owned business based in Poole are looking to recruit a Credit Controller on permanent contract.

As the Credit Controller, you will be managing customer accounts, collect outstanding debts, and supporting cash-flow performance while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and collect customer debts, prioritising accounts to minimise risk
• Act as main point of contact for customer account, invoice and payment queries
• Hold regular meetings with sales teams to resolve credit issues
• Review and assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers
• Prepare and issue customer statements, overdue reminders and reports
