Job summary

A leading food technology firm in Greater London seeks a Senior Creative Operations Manager to oversee creative functions, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creative operations and will drive effective processes while ensuring project deliverables align with business goals. This position is full-time and requires strong leadership and communication skills, along with a deep understanding of budget management and supplier negotiations.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Act as the senior point of contact for creative operations building trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Lead the creative planning and prioritisation process (Creative Prioritisation forum) with senior stakeholders ensuring resources are deployed against OKRs and timelines.
  • Define implement and evolve a fit-for-purpose creative operating model that embeds scalable processes and drives long-term effectiveness.
  • Own and evolve Wok-Flow acting as senior business owner for the workflow system; proactively identify and integrate new tools and automation.
  • Lead strategic resourcing balancing internal freelance and external capacity to meet business priorities campaign peaks and long-range plans.
  • Manage the full creative operations budget including forecasting cost-efficiency initiatives and supplier negotiations.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with freelancers agencies and production partners ensuring integration into Goustos operating model and compliance with IR35 and legal requirements.
  • Oversee delivery of gold-tier and high-impact productions ensuring projects are delivered on time on brand and on budget.
  • Champion continuous improvement capturing learnings and driving agile ways of working across a fast-paced multichannel environment.
  • Line manages and mentorthe Creative Operations team (including Traffic & Resource Management)
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience leading Creative Operations or Resource / Traffic Management in a fast-paced in-house or agency environment.
  • Proven ability to design and optimise operating models that deliver efficiency and scalability.
  • Skilled in budget management financial forecasting and commercial supplier negotiations.
  • Strong track record of building and managing external supplier ecosystems (freelance production agencies).
  • Advanced user of workflow and project management tools (e.g. Wok-Flow Monday Asana) with the ability to implement new systems and automation.
  • Experienced at influencing senior stakeholders and aligning resources to business priorities.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously balancing speed quality and creative integrity.
  • Strong knowledge of legal compliance and IR35 considerations in freelance and supplier management.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator able to embed best practices across diverse teams and disciplines.
  • Inspirational leader who builds culture develops people and drives continuous improvement
