Cover Supervisors Needed - Flintshire - September 2025

A new opportunity has arisen for a Cover Supervisor to join a fantastic Secondary School in Flintshire. With opportunities to progress on to Teacher Training in the future, this Cover Supervisor role is the perfect job for aspiring teachers who are seeking additional classroom experience before applying for a PGCE.

Responsibilities

• Covering lessons across Years 7-11 in a variety of subject areas
• Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
• Delivering pre-set lesson plans
• Ensure students are on-task and understand the work that has been set
• Using the school's behaviour policies to maintain classroom control
• Fantastic way of securing relevant experience prior to Teacher Training

Requirements / Qualifications

• Excellent academic record; strong GCSEs and A-Levels
• Graduates with a degree specialism within English, Maths or Science are of particular interest
• Confidence to stand in front of classes of up to 30 students and deliver pre-set lesson plans
• Experience in similar roles (e.g., TEFL) would be well suited to this position
