Job description

Cover Supervisor

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a full-time cover supervisor to work at an excellent partnership secondary school in Hull, starting ASAP and lasting until at least the end of the academic year. This is a temporary position covering a vacant role, with potential for permanent placement based on performance and enjoyment. Compensation ranges from £100 to £110 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

The role involves covering various lessons due to staff absences, ensuring consistent coverage and maintaining strong relationships with staff and students. While no specific specialism is required, candidates with a specialism will be prioritized for relevant cover. Experienced cover supervisors, recent graduates with child-based experience, and newly qualified teachers seeking consistent work are encouraged to apply. When not on cover, you will assist as a teaching assistant.

The school, located in Hull, is accessible by bus, bike, and has a large free onsite car park.
