As a Cover Supervisor, you are the leader of the classroom when a teacher is away. Your focus is to:
Lead the Classroom: Manage student behavior and keep the environment focused, safe, and positive.
Facilitate Learning: Deliver pre-set lesson plans across various subjects (no subject-specific expertise required!).
Support & Inspire: Help students stay on track with their tasks and encourage them to reach their potential.
Collaborate: Provide feedback to the school's department on student progress and engagement.
Experience: Previous experience with children or young adults (e.g., coaching, youth work, tutoring, or volunteering).
Confidence: The ability to command a room and communicate effectively with teenagers.
Adaptability: A "can-do" attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Qualifications: A degree or A-Levels are preferred, but we value personality, presence, and reliability.
Requirements: Must hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS check.
