Job role: Cover Supervisor

Start date: September 2025

Location: Selly Oak, Birmingham

Teaching Personnel is currently looking to recruit experienced cover supervisors to work at multiple secondary schools within the Selly Oak area of Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be available for a minimum of 3+ days per week and have previous experience as a cover supervisor within the UK.

We strive to provide high-quality educators to our partnered schools and offer additional CPD training to ensure staff can excel in their roles.

The ideal candidate:

• Will have previous experience working as a cover supervisor within the UK.
• Will have outstanding behaviour management skills.
• Will be available for 3+ days per week.
• Will have an enhanced child DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
• Can successfully teach classes of up to 30 students from KS3 to KS5.
• Be confident and outgoing.
• Will positively represent Teaching Personnel in all schools.

Pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential to become permanent in the future.
