Job summary

Ministry of Justice is seeking Operational Support Officers to deliver excellent customer service and administrative support to court and tribunal users, judiciary and management. You will work in a team to progress cases through the court/tribunal system and support various functions within HMCTS.

You'll be adaptable, able to multi-task, and handle papers, records, and communications across office and court settings.

• Effective communication and organisational abilities across in person, phone, digital and written channels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare papers and files for court, hearings and meetings, handling sensitive information.
• Create and update digital court records and interpret required information.
• Communicate with the public, judiciary, and other court users.
• Support smooth running of court proceedings and prepare court/hearing rooms.
• Be the first point of contact for court users when required.
