Our client is a modern and highly progressive top-tier, Legal 500 law firm that takes pride in developing the lawyers who join them.

They have grown substantially over the last 10 years to a turnover of £9m, with over 50 fee earners, and are now a Top 200 UK Law firm with a strong business plan for further growth, aiming to double in size within the next five years.

The firm now seeks to add a Solicitor or Legal Executive to their Court of Protection team.

Their highly regarded Private Client team is looking for an experienced COP Lawyer with a minimum of 1 year PQE. The role involves managing complex, high-value estates and includes:

  1. Running files and working with the Deputy in dealings with the Court of Protection, the OPG, the individual, and their family to establish long-term relationships and ensure decisions are made in their best interests.
  2. Preparing general Court Applications.
  3. Preparing Statutory Will Applications.
  4. Representing the Deputy at Court of Protection Hearings.
  5. Investigating suspicions of Financial Abuse.
  6. Estate Administration.
