WR Logistics in Chandlers Ford, near Southampton, is seeking a Courier Coordinator to join our team. You will manage courier operations, coordinate shipments, and support customers with timely updates and solutions.

The role covers domestic and international shipments, exception handling, and collaboration with carriers. The ideal candidate has courier/logistics experience, a full UK driving licence, and strong admin skills using Excel and internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage courier delivery exceptions and resolve service issues with carriers.
• Communicate updates and solutions directly to customers.
• Update Proof of Delivery (POD) information for pallet deliveries.
• Book pallet shipments through carrier portals.
• Assist the operations team with domestic parcel shipments, international bookings, and same-day movements.
• Monitor shipment progress using internal systems and carrier portals.
• Provide administrative support using Excel, Word, and internal logistics systems.
• Occasionally support collection activity by van when needed.

We're recruiting for a Courier Coordinator to join a well‑established international courier and logistics provider. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in domestic and international courier operations who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and delivering excellent customer service.

The Role

As a Courier Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring shipments move smoothly through the network while providing first‑class support to customers. You'll be responsible for managing delivery exceptions, liaising with carriers, updating shipment information, and supporting the operations team with a range of transport bookings.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing courier delivery exceptions and resolving service issues with carriers.
• Communicating updates and solutions directly to customers.
• Updating Proof of Delivery (POD) information for pallet deliveries.
• Booking pallet shipments through carrier portals.
• Assisting the operations team with:
  • Domestic parcel shipments
  • International courier bookings
  • Same‑day and dedicated vehicle movements
• Monitoring shipment progress using internal systems and carrier portals.
• Providing administrative support using Microsoft Excel, Word, and internal logistics systems.
• Occasionally supporting collection activity by van when operationally required.

Requirements

• Previous experience within courier, parcel, express, or logistics operations.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience dealing with domestic and/or international courier shipments.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
