Corporate Tax Senior Manager

Are you an experienced CTA Qualified Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager looking for a genuine forward step in your career at a leading regional practice in Cambridge.

Our client are looking for an experienced Senior level Corporate Tax Advisor at Manager or Senior Manager level who has the potential to further develop the corporate tax offering. This is an opportunity to take control and grow an already significant advisory portfolio of Corporate clients, OMBs, SMEs, multinational clients.

The key focus of this role is to provide proactive advice to clients on any issues that may arise during their life cycle; demergers, restructuring, share schemes; whilst also supporting with their tax compliance obligations.

The successful candidate will work towards taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of a team, growing business for the Corporate Tax offering, working closely with the other Partners; autonomy to help shape the team’s growth strategy.

You will be commercially minded and confident dealing with entrepreneurial clients, you will need to be confident in providing technical back up to the partners.

The firm have an extremely fluid and flexible hybrid system in place and offer the chance to work from home up to 3x a week.

Responsibilities
  • Group reorganisations and restructuring activities
  • Tax assistance with acquisitions and disposals
  • Introduction of share schemes and related work
  • SEIS/EIS advice and advanced assurance applications
  • Cross border/overseas tax issues for UK entities. (Scope to work alongside foreign advisors, within our global network or outside it, to provide comprehensive advice to clients.)
  • Capital tax reviews/planning for high net worth individuals relating to corporate share ownership in complex entities/groups
  • Corporate tax compliance reviews on higher risk or large cases.
  • Large or higher risk capital allowance projects/analysis
  • Involvement in business valuation as part of tax projects or standalone valuation assignments
