The Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Corporate Paralegal to join my client’s Derby office. This role provides hands‑on experience supporting the corporate team in a variety of commercial matters, giving you exposure to company transactions, compliance work, and client advisory services.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with company formations, restructures, and dissolutions
  • Supporting the preparation and review of commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, and corporate documentation
  • Conducting due diligence and legal research for corporate transactions
  • Liaising with clients, directors, shareholders, and external advisors
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date corporate records, registers, and statutory filings
  • Preparing meeting minutes, resolutions, and company filings for Companies House
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the corporate team
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements

Experience within a corporate or commercial law team is highly desirable.

  • Legal qualifications or relevant experience in corporate law (LLB, LPC, or SQE preparation is advantageous)
