Overview

This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in Corporate IT in a fast-growing technology enabled financial services company.

This is a hands-on role that requires a hardworking and passionate person to continue growing and developing the IT function, supporting our colleagues and teams across Europe, North America and Singapore. The Corporate IT Manager manages and maintains security, systems, infrastructure, and third-party vendor relationships. This is an exciting role with the chance to have a companywide impact, working with internal and external stakeholders to provide a best-in-class service.

The successful candidate will have a high level of interpersonal skills and be comfortable communicating with people at all levels of the organisation.

This role will be predominantly based in our London Office but will require occasional travel to our other UK and international locations.

Responsibilities
  • Taking ownership of the corporate IT roadmap and driving best practice.
  • Designing, implementing, and supporting IT environments to meet business needs.
  • Backup and disaster recovery strategy development, implementation, and maintenance
  • Research, recommend, procure, manage and implement IT equipment and services, building strong relationships with suppliers and other third parties.
  • Champion the ISO27001:2022 framework, being the project lead and ensuring compliance.
  • Management of Information and Hardware assets.
  • Managing both hardware (e.g. inventory, equipment repairs) and software (e.g. provisioning, security)
  • Work with the CTO and other senior stakeholders to continuously improve the IT function, enabling our talented team to have the technology they need.
  • Plan, prepare and execute IT Infrastructure projects as we continue to grow, ensuring our internal systems are ready for scale.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience
  • Manage the IT Budget OpEx & CapEx
  • Manage, mentor and grow a team of two talented individuals in different time zones.
Technologies
  • Microsoft 365 Expert (Azure, Entra, Intune, SharePoint, Security & Compliance, Teams Telephony with Direct Routing)
  • Extensive support and experience with upgrading Windows laptop environments
  • Managing, maintaining and deploying scripts with Jamf Pro, working closely with our Quant and Tech teams.
  • Extensive MacOS support experience, including working knowledge around permission levels and logging
  • Enhance and respond to alerts in our Microsoft Sentinel SIEM environment in a timely fashion.
  • Configuring and managing top tier Vulnerability Management tools, resolving findings and planning projects around them where necessary.
  • Experience of supporting and implementing an international, multi-network environment
