We are looking for a caring, energetic, enthusiastic individual to join our well-established team at Cherry Tree House in Bristol as a Cook. Role Responsibilities
  • Ensure the smooth running of the kitchen at all times.
  • Store, prepare and serve food and beverage items in accordance with all Food Safety and Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Clean and store equipment, crockery, cutlery and utensils in a safe and hygienic manner.
  • Perform daily cleaning of all areas of the kitchen using appropriate equipment, chemicals and work methods.
  • Maintain documentation and procedures for efficiency and accuracy, e.g., temperature of food and equipment.
  • Observe and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, confidentiality, courtesy and consideration to all people we support and colleagues.
  • Ensure segregation and prompt removal of waste to designated collection points, in accordance with the Company’s Safe Waste Handling Procedure.
  • Maintain and clean equipment in the appropriate manner.
  • Report any maintenance problems to the Manager promptly, keeping an accurate record.
  • Undertake housekeeping and cleaning duties as required.
