Qualifications

  • HNC or higher in Electrical/Electronics engineering or in a relevant field.
  • Experience in a power station or in an Energy from Waste (EfW) environment.
  • Knowledge of continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS) is essential.
  • Experience with PLC/HMI Programming.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing operation, maintenance, testing and calibration of all controls and instrumentation.
  • Managing and developing more junior controls technicians.
  • Utilising site distributed control systems (DCS) for compliance.
  • Investigating faults and rectifying as quickly as possible.

We are looking for an experienced Controls & Instrumentation Engineer for our Energy from Waste client based in Droitwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of the industry, working with the best controls systems and equipment!

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing operation, maintenance, testing and calibration of all controls and instrumentation
  • Managing and developing more junior controls technicians
  • Utilising site distributed control systems (DCS) and continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS) to adhere to statutory obligations
  • Investigating faults and rectifying as quickly as possible
