Job Overview

If you're a skilled Controls & Automation Engineer looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Expert mechanical and electrical system knowledge with the ability to identify, diagnose and rectify breakdowns
  • Ensure plant and equipment performance meets operational efficiency and compliance standards
  • Deliver and improve planned preventative maintenance across the site whilst maintaining CMMS records
  • Lead on instrumentation, process controls and PLC‑related tasks (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley)
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production
  • Provide training and support to new and existing team members
Requirements
  • Apprentice trained or equivalent engineering qualification
  • Strong PLC knowledge (diagnosing & programming)
  • Be prepared to assist other sites with PLC systems or small automation projects (remote or on‑site)
  • Experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and problem‑solving skills
Location

Commutable from parts of Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire and Gloucestershire
