Grant Thornton UK’s Finance Consulting / CFO Solutions practice is seeking an Assistant Manager to scale controllership transformation and financial close automation. You will work with CFOs and finance teams to streamline close processes, implement automation, and build capability across the function.

You will develop skills across process redesign, technology deployment, and stakeholder management, supported by Directors and Partners, with clear progression toward Manager and beyond.

Qualifikationen

• Professional qualification with post-qualification experience
• Strong interest in finance transformation and how tech improves controllership
• Confident engaging with senior finance stakeholders and managing expectations

Aufgaben

• Lead controllership and close automation engagements for clients
• Manage engagement budgets and timelines
• Analyse current-state close processes to identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities
• Design and implement improved close calendars and reconciliation frameworks
• Support close technology implementations (FloQast, OneStream, Prophix) including configuration and testing
• Develop process documentation, policies, and training materials
• Build day-to-day relationships with client finance teams as a trusted partner
• Grow into Manager and beyond through senior guidance and ownership
