Job summary
Grant Thornton UK’s Finance Consulting / CFO Solutions practice is expanding its Controllership Transformation and Financial Close Automation offering. We seek an exceptional Assistant Manager to work with senior leaders on redesigning controllership and implementing automation to accelerate closing cycles.
You will develop your expertise across process redesign, technology-enabled close, and stakeholder management, with growth to Manager and beyond as you build client relationships and lead
Qualifications
- Knowing you’re right for us: professional qualification with post-qualification experience
- Interest in finance transformation and role of technology in controllership and close processes
- Confidence engaging with senior finance stakeholders and managing expectations effectively
Responsibilities
- Lead workstreams within controllership and financial close transformation engagements.
- Analyse current-state close processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for automation.
- Design and implement improved close calendars, account reconciliation frameworks, and task management workflows.
- Support close technology implementations across FloQast, OneStream, and Prophix, including requirements gathering and testing.
