Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking an ambitious Finance Transformation Manager or Assistant Manager to scale our Controllership Transformation and Financial Close Automation practice. You will work with CFOs and Finance leaders to redesign processes and deploy automation, shaping our controllership offering.

You’ll grow through managing engagements, building client relationships, and leading workstreams, supported by Directors and Partners who mentor your progression toward Manager and beyond.

Qualifications

• Qualified in ACA/ICAS/CA/ACCA/CIMA or CIPFA with PQE
• Interest in finance transformation and how technology improves close
• Confident with senior finance stakeholders and managing expectations

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams within controllership and financial close projects
• Diagnose current close processes, identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities
• Design improved close calendars, reconciliations, and task workflows
• Support close tech implementations across FloQast, OneStream, Prophix
• Develop process documentation and training materials for clients
• Manage engagement budgets and timelines with Directors and Partners
