Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking a Senior Manager/Associate Director to scale our Controllership Transformation and Financial Close Automation practice. You will lead engagements that improve how clients close books, consolidate financials and report with confidence, combining controllership expertise with automation and EPM technology.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in controllership, financial close transformation or finance management consulting.
• Hands‑on implementation or advisory experience with close automation or EPM platforms such as FloQast, OneStream, Prophix, Blackline.
• Ability to design future‑state close operating models spanning process, automation, controls and data.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end controllership transformation programmes from current‑state diagnostic to future‑state operating model design.
• Own financial close automation workstreams including design, configuration, testing and change management.
• Advise on close technology platforms and vendor engagement; manage multiple engagements with quality and within budget.
