Job summary
Grant Thornton UK is seeking an ambitious Finance Transformation Manager or Assistant Manager to scale our Controllership Transformation and Financial Close Automation practice. You will work with CFOs and Financial Controllers to re‑engineer controllership, deploy automation technologies, and sustain lasting change, guided by Directors and Partners.

Qualifications
- Interest in finance transformation and the role technology can play in improving controllership and close processes.
- Confidence engaging with senior finance stakeholders and managing expectations.
- Post-qualification experience in finance transformation or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Lead workstreams within controllership and financial close transformation engagements from diagnostic to implementation.
- Analyse current-state close processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for automation.
- Design and implement improved close calendars, reconciliation frameworks and workflows.
- Support close technology implementations across FloQast, OneStream, and Prophix, including requirements gathering and testing.
- Develop process documentation, policy frameworks and training materials to embed change.
- Build strong relationships with client finance teams as a trusted point of contact.
