The Control Systems Engineer / Systems Control Engineer / Controls Engineer will be an experienced electrical professional with proven hands‑on expertise in PLC programming and electrical commissioning / maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support PLC & HMI programming and system testing
  • Develop P&IDs in coordination with design and engineering teams
  • Oversee and participate in on‑site commissioning
  • Design control panel layouts and wiring schematics
  • Use EPLAN to produce detailed electrical documentation
  • Create schematics flow diagrams and I/O lists
  • Collaborate with various engineering and project departments
Requirements
  • Proven experience in control systems engineering
  • Degree HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering
  • Proficiency in PLCs, HMIs and VSDs
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must be commutable to Birmingham
