Control Room Team Leader / Supervisor National Operations Centre, Northampton £34,500 per year 4 on / 4 off - Days & Nights Permanent, Full-Time

This Is More Than a Senior Controller Role

We're looking for someone ready to step into leadership.

As a Control Room Team Leader, you'll oversee a team of Control Room Administrators operating 24/7, ensuring our National Operations Centre runs smoothly, professionally, and to the highest standard.

This is an entry-point management role for someone ambitious, proactive, and capable of multitasking at a high level in a fast-paced operational environment.

What You'll Be Responsible For

You’ll lead from the front - operationally and behaviourally.

• Supervising and supporting a team of Controllers across day and night shifts
• Monitoring live staffing, attendance, welfare checks, and incident response
• Ensuring duress activations and escalations are handled correctly and promptly
• Overseeing workload distribution during peak periods
• Maintaining exceptional accuracy in reporting and incident logging
• Leading structured handovers between shifts
• Coaching team members to improve performance and confidence
• Identifying process improvements and driving standards upward
• Acting as the first point of escalation before matters move to senior management
