Job summary

Essential Employment is seeking a Control Centre Operator in Rugby on a temporary basis. The role pays £12.38 per hour PAYE and involves handling customer calls with a professional, calm approach to support through the Control Centre.

You will maintain records, assist with equipment installations and upgrades, and visit customers when required, while upholding high standards of service for customer safety and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will provide a professional, responsive and customer-focused service, acting as a first point of contact for customers requiring support through the Control Centre. They will confidently assess and respond to incoming calls, taking appropriate action in accordance with established procedures, including coordinating emergency responses when required.

The role will involve maintaining accurate records, updating customer information, programming and supporting equipment installations and upgrades, and carrying out visits to customers when necessary. The successful candidate will be able to remain calm under pressure, demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, and be committed to delivering a high standard of service that promotes customer safety, wellbeing and independence.
