Job summary

Lancer Scott is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee the UWE contract, ensuring service quality and client satisfaction across multiple sites. You will lead hard services delivery, manage budgets and SLAs, and drive improvements in building performance with energy efficiency initiatives.

Based in Bristol, you will manage cross-location teams, coordinate subcontractors, and report weekly on KPIs while seeking expansion opportunities for further scope of works.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Facilities Management with focus on Hard Services for high quality buildings.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is desirable.
• Proven leadership across multiple locations.
• Commercially driven approach to account management.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary client contact, attending strategy and performance review meetings.
• Supervise delivery of Hard Services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building fabric).
• Manage account budget with accurate P&L and cost control.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs for contractual compliance.
• Ensure sites meet statutory and H&S requirements; manage audits and risk assessments.
• Lead, coach, and develop onsite service engineers and subcontractors.
• Oversee minor works, refurbishments, and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Provide on-site engineering support and guide teams on complex problems.
